We’ve been loving it in our coffee for a natural sweetener, drizzled over vanilla ice cream, added to any baked good as a 1:1 substitute for sugar, or a spoon full when we have a sore throat 😋

As some of you may noticed before taking a break to welcome our fourth child, I started adding freshly milled flour to my original sourdough artisan bread!

Fresh milled flour contains 40 out of the 44 essential nutrients necessary for human survival, as it hasn't lost nutrients to oxidation.

When our son was three months of age, he developed eczema. Like any mother with a child itching, bleeding, & completely uncomfortable, I began to dive deep into understanding the products we put on our skin regularly, the cleaning products I used in our home, and the produce we were consuming. I then came across a podcast with Sue Becker (Bread Beckers) and immediately bought a grain mill. I have seen a difference in our families health including our children’s who devour anything freshly milled as it gives the BEST flavor!
Nothing feels better than knowing I am feeding my family nutritional whole food made from scratch and my whole heart 🤎 That is why from now on I will be adding 10-20% freshly milled hard red wheat to my sourdough bread. In prayers of better health and living for our community.

With the extra time off from baking for our farmstand, I’ve been able to experiment with recipes! I am SO happy I could cry 😅 I’ve FINALLY perfected sourdough bagels 🥯 I can’t wait to offer them to the stand for you all to enjoy 💛
