🍯🐝 The wait is almost over! 🐝🍯

The 2026 Tattletale Honey harvest is flowing, and that beautiful raw Alaskan honey is almost ready! After all the work that goes into keeping our bees healthy and producing honey here in Alaska, seeing those jars finally fill is a pretty sweet sight. 💛

This has been a tough year for honey production in Alaska, and supplies are going to be more limited than usual. So when you see local Alaskan honey, grab it while you can! As the year progresses, locally produced honey may become harder and harder to find. Support your local beekeepers and stock up early! 🐝

Local orders come first! I’m not shipping yet until all of my local orders have been filled. Once those are taken care of, I’ll announce when shipping opens for everyone in the Lower 48.

🐝 The 2026 Bee Season — One We Had to Earn 🍯

This season definitely didn’t make it easy on the bees—or the beekeeper.

We started with a long, cold spring that seemed like it just didn’t want to let go. The bees were slow getting started, colonies needed extra attention, and every warm flying day mattered.

Then came July, with plenty of rain and wet weather, right when we needed those good nectar-producing days. In Alaska, our season is already short, so losing even a week of good weather can make a huge difference.

But the bees kept working.

Whenever the sun came out and the temperatures climbed, they took advantage of every minute they had—working the fireweed, clover, and everything else they could find. There were plenty of days this season when I wondered what the honey harvest would look like, but the bees reminded me just how tough and adaptable they are.

And now, we’ve finally started harvesting. 🍯 After everything this season threw at us, there’s something pretty special about pulling those first frames of capped Alaska honey.

But I also know I couldn’t have done this season alone.

I’m incredibly thankful for the support of my family and friends, especially Jud, Mark, Jack, Rob and the Andersons family. Whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, helping when things needed to get done, or simply supporting what I’m trying to build, it has meant more than you know.

I also want to give a huge thank-you to Bushes Bunches and Misfits Farms for their continued support. Having great local farms, businesses, friends, and family behind Tattletale Honey makes all the hard work worth it.

It may not have been the easiest season, and it certainly wasn’t the season I would have ordered, but that’s beekeeping in Alaska. You work with what Mother Nature gives you.

Every jar of honey harvested this year represents a colony that made it through the cold, the rain, and a short Alaska summer—and thousands of bees that worked their wings off whenever the weather gave them a chance.

This harvest isn’t just about the honey. It’s about the bees, the people who helped along the way, and a community that continues to support local agriculture.

That makes this year’s honey a little more special. ❤️🐝🍯

🐝🎙️ MAT-SU HIVE TOWER – LIVE AT THE HEIGHT OF THE NECTAR FLOW

Hive Tower: “Attention all foragers, the pattern is full. Fireweed arrivals, enter left downwind. Clover traffic, extend your upwind. Expect delays.”

Bee 327: “Hive Tower, Bee 327, five wings east of the hive, heavy with nectar. Request full-stop landing.”

Hive Tower: “Bee 327, you’re number 12 behind traffic on final. Continue holding. Caution: high pollen wake turbulence.”

Bee 614: “Tower, we’re bingo nectar! These baskets are overflowing!”

Hive Tower: “Roger, Bee 614. Continue orbiting the dandelion patch. We’ll get you in as soon as the unloading crew catches up.”

Bee 118: “Tower… we’ve got another wave inbound from the fireweed fields!”

Hive Tower: “Copy. All outbound bees, expedite departure. No loitering at the entrance. This hive is operating at maximum honey-making capacity.”

😂 Somewhere in Alaska, the hive’s air traffic controller is questioning career choices while these girls are flying 24/7 trying to beat the weather.

🍯 Busy bees don’t complain… they just keep bringing home the honey.

8:50 PM and the bees are still hard at work, taking full advantage of Alaska’s midnight sun and this incredible weather. Every minute counts during our short season, and they’re making the most of it—bringing in as much nectar and pollen as they can while the conditions are perfect.

Nature never stops amazing me. 🐝☀️🍯
