THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Many of you have guessed we’re moving toward a brick-and-mortar, partnering with another business, or making some other big move. There have been plenty of speculations circulating, but the truth is, none of those are right for our next season.
This announcement is deeply personal and, honestly, sharing this kind of vulnerability makes me uncomfortable. But transparency is a monumental value of mine, and you all deserve to hear it from us.
First and foremost, thank you. To every person who has supported us, shared a cup of coffee with us, and helped keep this little dream alive these last three years—we are endlessly grateful.
For now, we have also paused offsite travel unless otherwise announced.
And now, the reason:
We are anxiously preparing to welcome a new little bean to our family in just a few short weeks. 🤎
After a challenging few months, we’re grateful to say everyone is healthy, growing, and wreaking absolute havoc on my body. 😂 The biggest betrayal of all? A fierce coffee aversion.
So what does this mean for Whistle Stop?
Truthfully, I don’t entirely know.
I’ve spent months trying to figure out how to navigate motherhood, pregnancy, and small-business ownership, and I’m learning that I can’t plan every piece of it.
My biggest fear is stepping away, losing the momentum we’ve built over the last three years, and having to rebuild. But honestly? That wouldn’t be the hardest thing we’ve ever done.
We’re excited for this new life, for watching our girl become a big sister, and for making memories in our home while continuing to share this little business with all of you.
I imagine we’ll close for a few weeks while we recover and lean heavily on our incredible team to carry the weight until we’re back up to speed. You may see some new faces around the shop as we bring on additional support, so give them grace.
This next season may look a little different, but we’re still here. Still dreaming. Still figuring it out. And still incredibly grateful that you’re along for the ride.
