The More You Know:
When coffee bean descriptions say “chocolate notes”, what does that actually mean?
It’s not flavored — it’s natural tasting notes developed through origin and roast (unless you are purchasing beans from our 'flavored' category).
Those flavors come from the location the beans are sourced, the soil it’s grown in, and how it’s roasted right here in our cafe.
Just like wine or craft chocolate, coffee develops its own unique flavor profile. A bean with chocolate notes might remind you of cocoa, dark chocolate, or even a subtle sweetness — all without syrups or flavoring.
It’s one of the things that makes freshly roasted coffee from Dublin Roasters so special: every cup has depth, character, and something new to discover.
Coffee is more complex than most people realize.
