Good morning!

We are back from Halloweentown! We had a great trip!

Now... I have a yard FULL of weeds. I will be back in the kitchen this week. I have a few bars left to bake and photograph, and then I will be working on the Cottage dessert cookies :-)

With or without the mini Three Musketeers bars baked in, these Three Musketeers brownies are decadent!

The dark chocolate brownie base works as a foil for the sweeter chocolate nougat filling!

These can be made gluten sensitive by the dozen (as they are in this photo), year-round. They are also available as part of a two flavor 4-pack (not gluten sensitive) in May 2027!

Easter falls at the end of March in 2027, so I will definitely be offering my Lemon Mascarpone bars a little early...

I have these topped with gold eggs...which I will try to find again, but if not, they will have an egg of some kind for Easter... without the egg for the month of April.

Lemon Mascarpone: lemon mascarpone bars spread with lemon glaze, and topped with a swirl of lemon buttercream filled with lemon curd!

Annnnnnd... I'm back!

That was a long trip! We traveled to the furthest reaches of the US so my husband could pick up an award. We had an AMAZING trip, and we had some AMAZING food on our way in/out of CA.

I also came >< this close to seeing baby turtles hatch... no luck.

Anyway... I'm working on some minor jetlag... I will be back in the kitchen in a minute, but I have to go to the grocery store, first!

Head's Up! I will be leaving town tomorrow, so I won't be baking today!

I will be taking cookies to my hairdresser, however. :-P
I will be sending cookies to REX hospital, hopefully.
I will be babysitting.

Commitments having me in/out of town for the next four (count 'em, 4) weeks, so I'm not sure what I will get done in the kitchen, but something (hopefully)!!

It's Monday!!! Who's with me? No? Oh, well. LOL

Anyway... I will be out of town for, roughly, the next four weeks!! So, I'll try to get a couple of things baked before I go, but as of Wednesday, I'm out!

There will be a flurry of activity when I return... and then it will 2027! Where did the year go?
