Preorders are now open for pickup at the Waconia Farmer's Market this Thursday, June 11 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM!

On the menu this week, you can preorder the following:
Classic White $6
Honeyed Harvest $6
Burger Buns (4) $3.75
Hot Dog Buns (5) $3.50

I'll have croissants again, but I don't offer preorders for those. I'm also testing a new loaf recipe, and if all goes well, it might make an appearance too!

I recently switched recipe formulations, so my products going forward may look a little different, but they'll be more consistent and equally as tasty (maybe even a little more!)

Working on new recipe formulations with heritage flour!

Baking is chemistry, and flour changes everything.

After a few weeks of contemplation, we've decided to transition all of our flour usage to Sunrise Flour Mill.

We already use Sunrise in several of our baked goods, including our croissants, white breads, honeyed harvest, and cinnamon rolls. We love the flavor, quality, and character their heritage wheat brings.

Until now, our signature loaf, dinner rolls, burger buns, and hot dog buns have used a very high-protein flour that can create an incredibly soft texture. But lately, it hasn't been as consistent as we need it to be.

So we're reformulating those recipes with Sunrise flour.

Their organic heritage wheat, small-batch milling, and no-bleach/no-bromate approach line up with the kind of baking we want to do: simple, thoughtful, and ingredient-focused. We also love supporting our local farmers and producers, and we've already shared the news of using Hope Creamery butter.

You'll notice a change in our dinner rolls, hot dog buns, and burger buns, but they'll be just as delicious as before. We're also retiring our Signature Loaf, but we're working on something to replace it.

We're happy to share that we're now using locally made Hope Creamery butter in our baked goods. We're always looking for ways to improve quality while supporting fellow Minnesota producers.

This is in addition to the locally milled flours we use from both Sunrise Flour Mill and Baker's Field Flour.

We can't wait for you to taste the difference!

Starting this week, find us at the The Waconia Farmers Market from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursdays!

We accept preorders for pickup at our tent, but you can also stop by to grab anything we have available.

This week, we'll have two types of bread loaves, hot dog buns, and burger buns. We'll also have individual croissants and pains au chocolat.

Croissants are NOT available for preorder, so stop by if you want to try one of those!

Our new pickup days going forward are Tuesdays from our porch from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, or Thursdays at the Waconia Farmer's Market from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

Memorial Day preorders are open! While the weather isn't looking too great for an outdoor cookout, you can still order some fresh burger buns, dinner rolls, or PB chocolate cookies, always baked fresh!
