Since it still kinda feels like it's summer, we may as well go here.

I love a good crunchy waffle cone, especially when I'm enjoying ice cream with family or friends at Braum's. But if I'm dipping into Blue Bell at home, it's going in a bowl and there's going to be alot of it. 🤣

I'm just being honest with y'all.

I love variety - especially given all the cute themes y'all come up with! But hands down, holiday classics are my absolute favorite cookies to decorate. I've said it before and I'll say it again, King George knew what he was talking about when he sang:

I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees and bells and stars
I sure do like those Christas cookies babe.

Oh, and by the way...there's only 13 weekends 'til Christmas. 🎄🎅🎁🤶🔔

Don't wait for the cookie to look completely done!

Cookies continue to bake on the hot pan after they come out of the oven. For cut-out sugar cookies, look for the tops to lose their shine. For drop cookies, watch for set edges and a center that no longer appears wet or raw.

🌳 MEET OUR NEXT COTTAGE MAKER! 🌳

We’re excited to introduce you to TLC Ranch—a family-run ranch in southern Oklahoma with a pretty special story and a whole lot of love for the land. 🤎

What began as a piece of Oklahoma land purchased by the Sheffield family in 1997 has grown into a family operation with more than 2,000 pecan trees, a herd of bison, and a commitment to caring for the land through organic and regenerative practices. Their pecans are proudly certified organic, and everything they do reflects their focus on faith, family and stewardship.

And this weekend, you can get a taste of what they're growing!

🌰 1-lb bags of TLC Ranch organic pecans will be available at the Cookie Cottage starting this weekend.

And we'll just say this…we've been talking with TLC Ranch about some pretty delicious things in the works for the Cottage. 👀🌰

We're not quite ready to spill the beans (or pecans 😉) yet, but let's just say you may want to keep an eye on this one!
