We are SO excited to be heading to Arab SugarFest this Saturday, September 5th!! 🩷🖤 The Bread Ladies are getting ready for a HUGE day, and we seriously cannot wait to see everybody!

If you’ve never been, this is such a fun family day — and there is SO much going on!

🏃‍♀️ Sugar Rush 5K — 7:30 AM
Start the morning with the Sugar Rush 5K!

🎪 SugarFest — 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Then stick around for a full day of:
🍔 Food trucks
🛍️ Vendors & shopping
🎶 Entertainment
🎡 Kids’ activities
🍭 Tons of sweet treats
❤️ Family fun!

🏃‍♀️ 5K starts at 7:30 AM
🎪 SugarFest runs 9 AM–3 PM

And YESSSS — Simply Sourdough will be there! 👀🍞🍪

We’re planning to bring a seriously good lineup of sourdough goodies, fall flavors, cookies, bread flights and more. Basically… come hungry. 😂🍂

🩷 IMPORTANT PINK & BLACK BAKERY STAND UPDATE 🖤

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close the Pink & Black Bakery Stand.

Between this brutal summer heat, unpredictable weather, and much less foot traffic than we’re normally used to, the stand has unfortunately become a loss that our small business simply can’t continue taking. I’ll be completely honest—this summer has been incredibly hard on us, and this was not an easy decision to make.

But Simply Sourdough isn’t going anywhere! 🩷 We’re shifting our focus to online orders and vending events, where we can continue bringing you all the sourdough goodies you love!

I may also offer preorder-only pickup at the stand if that’s something you guys would be interested in—please let me know in the comments! 👀

I’ve decided not to open the Pink & Black Bakery Stand this weekend. 🥺

I’m dealing with a pretty bad flare right now and, y’all… it is honestly kicking my butt. 😅 I think my body is giving me a not-so-gentle reminder that I do, in fact, have autoimmune diseases and I cannot keep going, going, GOING wide open 24/7. 😂

Apparently if I don’t force myself to rest… my body will force me to. RUDE. 🤣

So I’m going to listen to it, slow down for a minute, and give myself a little time to recover. I hope y’all understand! 🩷
