Today would’ve been my Granny’s 103rd Birthday! That is so hard to believe. To celebrate, I spent the better part of the afternoon making her famous, award-winning shortbread. The delicious aroma in my home is making me miss her deeply. I also realized I haven’t posted on here since this summer! Many reached out to see if I was still making shortbread and the answer is YES! I just haven’t nor needed to advertise which is a blessing. I also haven’t posted here as much because we’ve had so many big life changes happen over the last 6 months. With the state of the economy and orders slowing down and my son being in school a majority of the day, I found myself bored and I started praying about going back to work. In September, I went back to work as a paralegal just while my son is at school. My free time has been devoted to spending time with my family, PTA, and church. We lost our sweet Scottie a few weeks ago and that’s been an adjustment as well. You will miss his loud bark when you come to pick up cookies. We’ve just returned from Disney and Universal and what a grand time we had!
I’ve missed you guys and wanted to let you know that I am still baking shortbread, but it has purely been by people reaching out and ordering. You can message me to order anytime.
