👀 LOOKIE LOOKIE WHAT WE GOT AT THE BAKERY TODAY!! 👀

We KNOW you’ve missed our delicious BUTTERCREAM COOKIES… and guess what?!

🍪🎉 THEY’RE FINALLY BACK!! 🎉🍪

It’s been about 5 MONTHS, and we know how much everyone has missed them! Things have been a little crazy at the bakery with some staffing changes, so these favorites had to take a little break.

But TODAY they’re back! 😍

🍞🍩 WE’RE HIRING PART-TIME AT CHRISTINA’S CAKERY! 🍩🍞

We’re looking for a little extra help to join our bakery crew! This is a part-time morning position, approximately 12–20 hours per week.

🧁 Must be 18 or older
🧁 Must be available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & EVERY OTHER Saturday
🧁 Must be available to start at 4 AM or 5 AM and end shift 9 AM weekdays and 12 PM or 1 PM Saturdays.

This position is a little bit of everything! Job duties include waiting on customers, answering phones, taking orders, slicing breads & buns, packaging buns, prepping bread and bun pans, dishes, general cleaning, and helping with other tasks as needed.

Bakery work is fast-paced and physical, so we’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and ready to jump in wherever needed!

No bakery experience? That’s okay! We can teach the right person who is willing to work and learn.

🎒🍩 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL SPECIAL! 🍩🎒

The kiddos will already be crabby… because seriously, where did summer break go?! 😩☀️

So, stop at the bakery on your way to school this morning and sugar those kiddos up! 😂

And look what Bailey has been working on! 🥹💗 She made up a limited amount of cute Back-to-School Boxes featuring:

They may not be perfect yet, but with time, practice, and a whole lot of learning, she’ll get there! Practice makes perfect. 💕

🎡 IT’S MANITOWOC COUNTY FAIR WEEK! 🎡

🥖 🍞 Fair week means one thing for us at Christina’s Cakery — LOTS and LOTS of breads & buns! 🍞🥖

🌽 🍔 We have quite a bit of production to get through for a few stands at the fair, and we’re excited to help keep everyone fed while they’re out enjoying all that amazing fair food! 🍔 🌽

Since the bakery storefront tends to slow down a little during fair week, I’ll be shifting our employees to the morning production shift to help us package, slice, and get all those breads and buns out the door.

⏰ BAKERY HOURS THIS WEEK WILL BE ⏰
Tuesday: 5 AM–1 PM
Wednesday: 5 AM–1 PM
Thursday: CLOSED
Friday: 5 AM–1 PM
Saturday: 5 AM–1 PM
Sunday: CLOSED

So before you head to the fair, make sure you stop in and grab your donut fix, fresh breads, buns, and other goodies! 🍩🍞

And some exciting news — Bailey is back at the bakery helping out! 💛 She’s been busy getting us caught back up on cake pops and other sweet treats, so keep an eye out for more goodies filling the cases again!

To the lady who left us a ⭐ ONE-STAR REVIEW ⭐ because apparently our bakery just can’t do anything right…

One of the complaints? Too much sugar on our SUGAR twist. 😂

Ma’am… it’s literally called a SUGAR TWIST. 🍩😂 What exactly were we expecting?!

So in honor of that review, today’s sugar twists may have gotten a little EXTRA sugar. If we’re going to get one star for too much sugar on a sugar donut, we might as well make it worth it! 🤣

And OH YEAH… apparently our donuts were also “fried in old oil.” 🤦‍♀️

Sorry, but we go through approximately 200 POUNDS of frying oil every FIVE DAYS. There isn’t much opportunity for oil to sit around and get “old” when you produce the amount of donuts we do. 🍩🍩🍩 So we’re going to have to respectfully disagree with that one, too.

After looking through your reviews, it seems like one-star ratings get handed out pretty generously, so we’re not going to lose sleep over this one.

We truly hope you find a little happiness today. ❤️ Life is way too short to be this upset over sugar on a sugar donut.

Meanwhile, we’ll be over here doing what we do every day—working our butts off, going through 200 pounds of frying oil every five days, and putting SUGAR on our SUGAR twists. 🍩

And today, maybe just a little EXTRA. 😂
