Sam has supported The Ginger Jar from the beginning and I would love for The Ginger Jar community to support Sam now.
If you can, please donate, if you can't please interact with the post so more people see it. I will be donating 10% of my sales this weekend and I will have a spot at the stand if you want to add extra to donate.
Let me tell you about Sam's impact on The Ginger Jar, and me.
When a man I didn't know messaged me early on and said I had the best bread in Terre Haute I thought someone was trying to scam me 🤣
It was really just a kind man who wanted to support local. He has consistently shown up. He tells me when there's an issue with my website, or if I need to word something differently, he even points out my typos which is a part time job in itself 🙃
Sam has taken photos of the lovely creations he makes with my bread and always makes sure people know it came from The Ginger Jar. He shares those photos with me so I can use them as well.
He goes out of his way to be supportive.
Sam's support made me think this idea of mine could be successful. He reinforced the idea that there are some people who are just kind and will support you, even when they don't know you! He likely doesn't realize how much he has done with his kind, consistent, support. He will probably send me a message about how I didn't need to do this and we may go back and forth about how I didn't need to but I wanted to (this saves us some time Sam). I want to because he deserves to receive the support he has given. I want to because this is actually what I want The Ginger Jar to be about, a supportive community.
