Hi everyone,

You may or may not have noticed that I've been absent from the farmers market for a little while.

About a month ago I was diagnosed with skin cancer. Prior to the diagnosis I was struggling with pretty severe fatigue which I was pushing myself through, but I can't keep doing that.

In order to focus on the treatment I need and my overall health, I've taken a leave of absence from my main job and will also be stepping back from Black Cat. This is a very painful decision because I love this business so much, and I've wrestled with it for weeks.

I will not be returning to farmers market this year. I will also be pulling out of any future vendor events I have booked for this year. I am hopeful that with this break, I can return next year as my best and healthiest self.

Thank you for all the support this year! It means the world to me 💖
