Due to the nature of Ayam Cemani genetics (fibromelanism), not every chick will hatch completely black. Some may have a light toenail, small white markings that often fade with age or even brownish colors. Even well-bred birds can develop slight leakage or mulberry tones as they mature.
We are continually working to improve our breeding program with each generation and strive to produce the best quality birds possible.
