Where have I been?? Well, the answer is a little complicated! I broke my foot in 3 places back in early August! I was doing some yard work with my daughter and took a step back into a hole and it has changed everything for the past 9 weeks. Such a long time. So, not much baking going on. I've filled orders that I had on the books, sometimes with the help of my daughters, but for the most part, I've had to let it go for now. Most likely right through to the end of the year. I won't be taking any orders and no Christmas orders - that breaks my heart! I have a few weddings that I'll still do and I'm excited about that! And a couple of wholesale orders that I can manage. So we'll go into the new year and see what happens! :) In the meantime, learn from my experience and watch where you step! I did get to do this amazing birthday cookie cake for my granddaughter's 17th birthday! So pretty!! (It's in my fridge here. lol)
