I wanted to share a little more about why I’m making this change.
Although my mini cakes are smaller, they require almost the same amount of time and effort as my larger cakes. I still have to shop for ingredients, order packaging and supplies, bake the cake, color the buttercream, decorate every detail, and prepare everything for pickup.
As many of you know, I also work a full-time job, so my baking time is very limited. In order to continue providing the quality that I expect from my business while balancing my schedule, I’ve made the decision to discontinue custom mini cake orders.
This decision is in no way because I’m ungrateful for your support. In fact, it’s because your support has allowed my business to grow, and I have to be intentional with how I spend my time. At my current price point, mini cakes simply aren’t sustainable for me to continue offering as custom orders.
If you’ve already ordered a mini cake and are on my schedule, your order will absolutely be honored. ❤️
Going forward, smash cakes will still be available when purchased with a 6-inch cake or larger order.
The good news is that mini cakes aren’t gone forever! From time to time, when my schedule allows or during holidays and special occasions, I’ll be making a limited number of mini cakes available as flash sales or pop-up specials right here on my page. So keep an eye on my social media—you never know when a sweet surprise will pop up!
