Sorry for the long post but this has been eating at me the over the past month🫶
First, we want to say thank you to all of our new & long time customers who have continued to support us over the years and have always been so understanding, patient, and kind.. 💛 there are so sooo many of you!! You are what keep us going!!
Ever since opening our storefront, we have received a lot of comments and messages regarding our lines and suggestions for how we should operate. While we always appreciate constructive feedback and I fully understand it is not possible to make everyone happy, I also want to advocate for our team and the amount of work that makes Bri’s Fresh Bakes possible every single day.
One thing we want people to understand is that long lines are not something new for us. We had lines for years at the farmers market before ever opening our storefront. Since the beginning, we have continually worked on improving our systems and making things run as smoothly as possible. The reality is, our line often begins forming hours before we even open, so no matter where you are in line, there will likely be a wait.
Our team is able to serve hundreds of customers and sell thousands of pastries within just a few hours every weekend. What we used to bake and sell in ONE MONTH before opening our storefront, we are now doing in ONE WEEK. That is an enormous increase in workload for a small team, and we are incredibly proud of how hard everyone works to make it happen.
We completely understand that waiting in line is not doable for everyone, and that is okay too. Pastries are not a necessity. So, please, if you are new to Bri’s Fresh Bakes and are planning to come try our bakery come with an open mind. Understand you will likely have to wait and things may be sold out if you are not able to come right when we open.
At the end of the day, our one and only goal with Bri’s Fresh Bakes is and always will be to bring joy to our community through our pastries. Just know we are a small team with a huge passion for pastries working as hard as possible for you to enjoy.
