Check out those layers! All of those fine lines you see when you zoom in are layers of award winning Royal Guernsey Creamery butter and croissant dough alongside each other.
We love the effects of this style called cross lamination, and use it for several of our specialty croissants. You’ll see the final results of fine raised ridged lines in our cannoli croissants, b**r cheese brat-ssants, jack-o-lanterns, or caramel apple baskets. You can grab one or all at the Sun Prairie Farmers Market tomorrow morning (7:00-12:00) to see and taste for yourself! 🤩

Last year we brought together two Fall favorites: molasses cookies and apple compote, and created our Apple Molasses Cookies. We’ll have them this Saturday at the Sun Prairie Farmers Market.

We felt all the love and appreciation tonight! 🥰Thank you so much for a great end of season market at the Capitol View Farmers' Market tonight! We look forward to returning next year, and in the mean time, you can continue to find us at the Sun Prairie Farmers Market Saturday mornings, and look for future pop-up announcements! 🤩

Tomorrow is the season finale for the Capitol View Farmers' Market! We’ve had an absolute blast baking for this market, met some fantastic people, and we do hope we still get to see many of you over the fall and winter (we’ll have pop-ups, holiday events, and a weekly indoor Saturday market).

A little touch of seasonal fun with these cute Jack-o-lantern croissants. We fill them with pumpkin pie cream and a beautiful dark chocolate pastry cream and add just a touch of salted caramel. We’ll have them at all of our markets this week! 🎃

Today we enjoyed the beautiful weather and took a family excursion to an historical site in Wisconsin where there were horse drawn wagons, fall foliage, apple pressing (pictured), pumpkin carving, and the chance to taste an apple pie baked in a wood burning oven from the 19th century. It was a delightful experience - the man preparing pies was explaining the process of heating the ovens, which burners gave the high or medium heat based on proximity to the burning wood, and how the smoke would travel in a tube that brought heat around what became the oven. He explained how it became an art to understand your own oven and how it would heat/how long to bake/etc. The pie was also an old world recipe, which made it all the more enjoyable to experience. We hope you were also able to enjoy the beautiful weather of the weekend. We look forward to seeing you at the markets this week!

What’s your favorite part of Autumn?
I love when it’s crisp enough that I can wear a cozy sweater, but don’t yet need a coat, the leaves turn (there are some beautiful trees out there right now!), and all things Apple and Pumpkin!
We can’t guarantee the crisp cool air this Saturday, but the trees will be lovely and we’ve got you covered for Apple and Pumpkin at the upcoming Sun Prairie Farmers Market Saturday!
