🍪 FREE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES TODAY! 🍪

Why are they free? Because apparently trying to do 47 things at the same time while baking is not always a recipe for success. 😂

I managed to muck up a batch of Hands Down Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies by adding too much butter. The result? They’re delicious, crispy brown butter cookies.

Do they still taste great? Absolutely.
Do they meet my completely unreasonable, self-imposed standard of cookie perfection? Absolutely not. 😂

So for today, Chocolate Chip Cookies are FREE WITH PURCHASE while they last! Consider my butter mishap your gain. 🍪

And thankfully, I managed not to muck up everything else. 😂 The stand will also have:

Reminder… orders for Saturday pick up are open until 6pm TONIGHT.
In September the stand will only be open the first two weeks of the month and after that will be closed until early October while I take some time off 🙂

📦 We’re having a bit of a packaging crisis over here this morning! 😂

My packaging order that was supposed to arrive yesterday is still “running late” according to Amazon. And if you’ve ever tried to contact Amazon when there’s a problem… well, you already understand my current level of frustration. 😵‍💫

BUT — we’re making it work!

🍞 Fresh Sourdough is out!
🍪 Hands Down Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies are out! They’re currently sporting some very fashionable trimmed-down baguette bags. Is it my favorite presentation? Absolutely not. 😂 But the cookies are just as delicious and I’m doing the best I can with what I have!

🥜 Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies will be out shortly, tucked into the packaging I normally use for bagels.

🤘 And there’s a NEW COOKIE coming out this morning — the Rockstar!
It starts with my Hands Down Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookie and gets loaded up with toffee bits and crushed pretzel sticks. Sweet, salty, crunchy… all the good stuff.

Unfortunately, things like Zucchini Bread are on hold until my packaging actually decides to arrive. I have no idea when that will be, so stay tuned!

Apparently today’s bakery special is improvisation. 😂🤷‍♀️

Thanks for always rolling with it and supporting this very small, very human bakery. ❤️
