A new offering this week for 100% fresh milled wheat sandwich loaf. This soft and tender bread is made with instant yeast. I know I’m straying from my sourdough roots, but the flexible timing using instant yeast works with my current rhythm of life.

I’ve been making smaller batches to practice technique and it also allows me to use a temperature controlled environment for the final proof. Maybe someday I’ll have a larger climate controlled space for proofing. ☺️

The colder temps have arrived inside my house as well as outside. I keep waiting a little bit longer before I turn the heat on.

I enjoy the cooler temps, however the sourdough starter is quite unpredictable when it gets this chilly.

So to enjoy some predictability, I’m going to offer Apple Cinnamon Twist Buns with traditional yeast. These will be included in the third Fall Flavors Sampler Box this week. Orders are open for the week with limited quantities available.
