The business winner for this week is Dr. Diane Ray from State College Orthodontics on Park Center Boulevard in State College nominated by M&T bank. The cake is a replica of the famous Ruffles Original Chip bag. The entire chocolate cake is edible! The cake was iced with regular buttercream and covered with a thin layer of fondant. The Ruffles name and the enter photo were printed on wafer paper. The "chips" are made with fondant and airbrushed with food colors.
A lot of people say they don't like fondant but at Sweet Tooth we try to make the icing underneath thick and then the fondant thin.

Sweet Tooth has nominated M&T bank on South Atherton to receive this week's free giveaway treat. The platter has a chocolate cake with crumbled graham crackers/marshmallow creme icing between the layers and then iced with regular buttercream on the outside. It was decorated with edible candies, pretzels, and edible wafer paper campfire.
The chocolate bars have dark or milk chocolate with a graham cracker/marshmallow inside. They are topped with edible wafer paper.

The previous business winner of our free treat giveaway, Benny's Pizza on Fraser has nominated Elixir on Beaver Ave, downtown State College. They received a tray of baked mini donuts iced with a donut type soft glaze and were decorated with various sprinkles.

This Friday is National Donut Day so Sweet Tooth will be offering a free set of 2 mini donuts to those who stop in from 9am-3pm.

Last week's business winner, Comic Swap, has nominated Benny's pizza also on Fraser St, downtown State College to receive this week's sweet treat. This week we are giving away a tray of gluten free items. The cupcakes are chocolate and yellow flavored with regular icing and sprinkles on top. The cookies are gluten free peanut butter. There is also a few gluten free chocolate covered Oreos. This would be great to win for your gluten free friend!

Sweet Tooth will be closed from this Wednesday, May 20th until Wednesday, March 27th while the owner recuperates from surgery.

In honor of May 15th being National Chocolate Chip Day, we made a vanilla cake with chocolate chips inside, iced it with regular icing and placed some chocolate chip cookies around the sides.
