🎓When the client says, “I trust you, do your thing!” 🎓

Creative freedom sounds easy…until you realize it means ALL the decisions are yours! 😂 And sometimes having a blank canvas is more challenging than being handed a detailed inspiration photo.

Charli gave me complete creative freedom with this graduation cake, so I pulled together the colors, textures and details to create something completely custom for Aubrie’s celebration. From the lavender and ivory tiers to the florals, pearls, personalized graduate image and graduation cap, this one definitely stretched my creativity, but seeing the finished cake come together made it worth it. 🎓✨🥰

60 years deserves a little GOLD. ✨🖤

At the end of July, I had the honor of creating this beauty for Rob’s surprise 60th birthday celebration!

And if you know Rob, you know the gold was fitting. He truly has a heart of gold. He’s never met a stranger, can make just about anyone feel welcome, and is as genuine and authentic as they come.

It was such a pleasure to create something special to help celebrate such a special person and this incredible milestone.

With so many flowers, I knew it would challenge me—but it also gave me the opportunity to finally make time to develop my gumpaste flower skills. I learned so much during this project, and I absolutely love how it turned out!
