Hey! It’s Labor Day Weekend, y’all!! What are you doing? I am very confidently doing NOTHING. (Hence the pic of me and Bailey hanging out on the couch😊).

Don’t get me wrong, I am SUPER thankful for all the people who fought for all of my workplace rights (some of whom are doing it for me currently as a teacher in MO), and I am going to enjoy the time off basically couch-rotting. Well at least today. Who knows what tomorrow and Monday will bring?! 😄

Happy Spalding Baseball Day! To be honest I’m not entirely sure what that means you should be doing to celebrate, so let’s just talk about how cute these cookies are! 😊

Also, I am a baseball fan but haven’t been to a game in 2 seasons! It’s wild, especially since our stadium is so great (our team, only sometimes 😬).

Happy First Day! Whether your first day was today or weeks ago I hope it was the best first day you have ever had!

My crew went back today to 2nd (me), 4th (Grant) and 10th (Allie) and Riley went to his first day of his sophomore year of college yesterday. And I have no pics of any of it. Well except one random pic I took at my desk during lunch today. lol

So…drop your first day pics for me so I can celebrate the cuteness with you! Here’s to a great year for us all!

Can we be real for a second? This is me first thing in the morning. It’s probably you first thing in the morning, too. Messy hair, bags under your eyes, drinking your coffee on the couch with your dog and trying to wake up.

If that’s you, you’re my people and I’m glad you’re here! Ok, let’s be real, if you look better than this when you roll out of bed you’re also welcome here. Everyone is welcome!

Here’s to a great day, no matter how you started it. I am glad you’re here and hope you stay around for the best cookies in town and sometimes some silly pics from the couch.

Do you ever buy something because it’s just so pretty?

That was this mug for me. 💚 It’s the right size and shape, which is also nice, but it just made me happy when I saw it, so I had to have it. Oh and it was $5 on Marketplace, so win/win!
