Two pups, two goats, a pair of cowboy boots, ALLLL the sprinkles, and one very special birthday girl! ❤️ I absolutely love when a customer gives me a theme that lets me have a little fun, and this one came together even cuter than I pictured!

A little Texas, a little pretty, and a whole lot of personality! 💜🤠

This beauty was butter pecan cake with a maple cream cheese filling 🤤🍁 The combination was SO good!

Finished in soft dusty pink with purple florals, bluebonnets, cowboy boots, and a little Texas pride. I love when a cake gets to tell you a little something about the person it was made for. 💜

Who says birthday cupcakes have to stay in a boring little box?! 😂

Chocolate cupcakes stacked into a full-on birthday centerpiece with blue, white & chocolate buttercream, gold accents, candles and just the right amount of EXTRA. 💙✨

I absolutely LOVE how this one came together! It’s fun, different, and still gives you that big “birthday cake” moment… just with cupcakes!

And yes, they’re filled cupcakes too. 😉🙌

Presentation matters. 🎀

To me, a cake order isn’t finished when the last swirl of buttercream is piped. The way it’s presented matters just as much.

Of course I want your cake to taste amazing and look beautiful, but I also want you to feel like you’re receiving something special the moment I hand you that box. The ribbon, the tag, the little card, the packaging… those details are all part of the experience.

Whether it’s a birthday cake, cupcakes, a wedding order, or a little treat for someone you love, I want opening your order to feel like opening a gift. 🖤

It takes a little extra time, but those finishing touches are one of my favorite parts of what I do.

🎪🖤 INTRODUCING STORY SCENE CAKES BY FLYING APRON BAKERY! 🖤🎪

I am SO excited to finally introduce something new I’ve been working on… Story Scene Cakes!

These aren’t just themed cakes. Each one is designed to tell a story and create an entire little world around your cake, with details that go beyond just frosting and toppers.

First up… Welcome to CarnEvil. 🎪🎈😈

And just to be clear, this is NOT an AI cake. This is a faux display cake featuring the ACTUAL sugar sheet and handmade clown topper that will be used for this design, so you can see how the finished concept comes together.

The CarnEvil Story Scene Cake will feature the detailed carnival sugar-sheet scene, coordinating frosting and balloon details, a handmade clown topper with a tea light underneath so he actually GLOWS, dimensional elements that bring the scene to life, and even a coordinating keepsake postcard to go along with your cake. 🖤

And CarnEvil is only the beginning! I’ll be creating multiple Story Scene designs to choose from, including lots of horror and Halloween themes, plus a whole collection of Christmas Story Scene Cakes for the holiday season. 🎃🔪🎄✨

I have SO many ideas for these and cannot wait to start bringing them to life.

The cake gets eaten, but the postcard stays… and so does the story. 🖤
