Nikoline and Roman are finishing tart shells for our Frangipane Tarts.
Fran - juh - payn, try saying it romantically in a French accent and you will start to understand the love-affair Europeans have with it!
Our tart dough is made from scratch, rolled thinly and cut into the perfect circle to fit the tart paper. After we fill the shells with Frangipane filling, an almond mixture made with house made almond paste, eggs, butter and sugar. We then top with either sliced pear or sliced apples and cranberries. They are then ready to be baked to perfection, finished with a sweet glaze and displayed in our store for you to order.
A sweet breakfast, a slice with your mid-day coffee or for dessert, any way is the right way!
