Thereโs something pretty special happening around here.
What started as a way to make it a little easier to find and support the people growing, baking, raising, making, and creating close to home keeps turning into something much bigger โ a community finding its way back to one another.
And every week, that community grows. ๐
Some of our newest Farm Hop stops are established farms. Some are tiny roadside stands. Some are bakers turning flour, butter, and a whole lot of talent into something worth driving for. Some are families growing food, tending animals, preserving the harvest, or helping the rest of us grow a little something of our own.
Different stories. Different specialties. Same beautiful thread:
Local people doing good work and sharing it with their neighbors.

A sweet little farmstand filled with fresh baked breads, jumbo cookies, cinnamon rolls, fresh eggs, homemade jellies, snack mixes and other rotating homemade goodies.
๐ Why we love them: Oak & Mercy feels like exactly what the Farm Hop was created to celebrate, a little roadside stand built from a dream, where homemade food and community support still matter.

A local farm bringing thoughtfully grown food directly into the community. Seasonal, locally grown produce and flowers; pastured eggs from heritage breed hens; heritage breed pork; 100% grass-fed lamb offered in limited batches; CSA shares; and other seasonal farm products. Swallowtail also hosts farm to table dining, workshops, farm tours, retreats, private events and weddings, along with occasional special events such as their farm dinners and Pizza Picnics.
๐ Why we love them: Farms like Swallowtail reconnect us with something incredibly important, knowing where our food comes from and the people responsible for growing it.

Find seasonal vegetable plants, herbs, perennials, annuals, landscape shrubs, houseplants, hanging baskets, garden soil and fertilizer, plus fruit trees by request and custom plant orders.
๐ Why we love them: This isnโt just somewhere to grab a plant and leave. BZโs encourages people to wander, get inspired and reconnect with growing things, and we think that fits beautifully into the Farm Hop.

This farmstand is doing things a little differently, focusing less on baked goods and more on pickles and pickled mixed vegetables, with farm-grown produce planned as the seasons allow-including Brussels sprouts, broccoli, peppers, lima beans and pumpkins.
๐ Why we love them: A good farmstand doesnโt have to look like every other farmstand. We love seeing 3 Bโs carve out its own niche while bringing another source of locally made and eventually locally grown food to its neighbors.

A local cottage baker bringing homemade treats to the Inverness community.
๐ Why we love them: The Farm Hop has always had room for the small makers doing something special from home. Every cottage business starts somewhere, and supporting them locally helps those little ideas grow.

This mom and daughter baking team creates custom cakes, cookies and sweet treats for weddings, birthdays, parties, events, and those random โI just need cakeโ occasions. Because frankly, those count too. ๐

๐ Why we love them: Thereโs a real person and story behind this bakery. Owner Tricia started baking through 4-H decades ago and eventually combined her love of baking with her artistic side, and that creativity still shows up in what she makes.

๐ Why we love them: There is just something wonderfully old-fashioned about stopping at a neighborhood bakery stand for something made by someone who lives right down the road. That kind of connection deserves protecting.

Dusk Family Farm Stand is open 7 days a week, 7am-7pm
A micro bakery and farmstead specializing in sourdough, including original and jalapeรฑo cheddar loaves, cinnamon rolls and sourdough pancake mix. And because itโs located right at Dusk Family Farms, you may also find farm fresh eggs, raw local honey, kombucha, jams, salsa, sauces and other homemade and homegrown goodies while youโre there.
Dusk Family Farms also offers pasture raised eggs, untreated/unheated raw honey, zero pesticide use on the property, and participation on the official โno sprayโ list.
๐ Why we love them: This one is a two for one, fresh bread from a micro bakery alongside eggs, honey and other farmstand staples. Itโs the kind of stop where you go for one thing and come home with breakfast for the weekend.
