Happy early birthday to my precious nephew! Had so much fun making this TNT Minecraft cake for him. It felt good to be back in my kitchen. A very different experience doing it while being 5 months pregnant. Lol. But it still makes me so happy.
So the reason I’ve been so inactive lately is because I’ve been busy baking something else! We’ve been baking our own little bun who’s timer is set to go off right around Thanksgiving! We’re very surprised & very excited. So much planning to do. Can’t wait to start baking birthday cakes for my own little love.

Guess who got a new tool!!! Yay!! I am so excited! Now I can make pizzelles, cannoli & waffle ice cream cones!!! I’m so grateful for my wonderful Aunt who, despite the miles, supports my business. This wonderful gift was from her. Thank you to EVERYONE who has been my cheerleader throughout this journey. We got a long way to go but I’m glad I have you all by my side. An extra special shout-out to my love & true partner who is the one who challenged me to start this bakery in the first place. I love you baby!

Had a wonderful time celebrating the marriage of Jessica Heffner & Matthew Sawtelle. Was so blessed these wonderful people allowed me to be a part of their special day & bake some yummies for their guests to enjoy. The beautiful bride wanted a nice variety of cupcakes. She decided on strawberry shortcake🍓, chocolate peanut butter🍫🥜, carrot cake 🥕& Oreo💝. It was such a beautiful day. May your marriage be blessed as you grow together each day. Congrats!!!

I think Halloween baking is my absolute fav! 👻Made these fun little beauties for a friend’s daughter’s Halloween 🎃birthday this weekend. Vanilla cake filled with raspberry jam & iced with a white chocolate buttercream. Happy birthday little darlin’! I had so much fun making this sheet cake. First one I’ve ever made! What do you guys think??

She is beauty, she is grace, but I got lemon all over the place! 🤣 Another order done for another wonderful birthday. This customer never seems to be satisfied with the amount of lemon in her cake so . . . . ! Inside we have white cake with lemon zest, filled with lemon curd. On the outside we draped her in a lemon Chantilly cream (which came out OH so delish!) & decorated with candied lemons. I guess we will find out soon if we met the mark 🎯

I am so overwhelmed by the love & support I've been shown today by all of you. I am so humbled, excited & blessed. Thank you all.
Most of you know me,but some of you may not. I'm Nikki. 👋 And this weekend I started on a journey to make one of my dreams come true. I was born & raised in an Italian-American household in Central Jersey. I moved to the south & became a Florida resident almost 10 years ago. Since I was a little girl, I've been in the kitchen, usually with my Daddy. I learned a lot about cooking, but baking was always my passion. Desserts have a way of making people smile even when they've had the worst day. So I taught myself to bake. A few years ago, I was co-owner of a small cheesecake business & I learned a lot about running a small business. My passion for baking just exploded & I dreamed of having a bakery of my own. We're starting small - a home based bakery (cottage law compliant) but one day I would love to have a brick & mortar shop of my very own. This . . .is Whipping Up Magic. I specialize in custom occasion cakes & cupcakes made from scratch. I've also been working on learning pastries to be able to offer that to you as well. Happy 21st Birthday, Dakota! Hope you enjoy! For Dakota, we made a version of a Boston Cream Cake. Yellow butter cake & chocolate fudge cake filled with thick, smooth homemade Boston cream. Covered in fluffy blue watercolor vanilla buttercream. Topped with silver sanding sugar & candy melt toppers. And where would a 21st birthday be without a little booze? 😉 Peep the adorable tiny booze bottles! Can you spot the captain?
So now that we have a logo (which I am absolutely in 😍 with), it's time to make some business cards 🎴& order forms.📋 If any of you have had cards made, where did you get them done? Gimme all your tips & tricks! Lol!
