Today marks the end of a very special chapter as I say goodbye to VCE. While leaving a place and people I have loved is bittersweet, my heart is filled with gratitude for the memories, friendships, and experiences that have helped shape me along the way.

After much prayer, reflection, and encouragement, I am taking a leap of faith and embarking on a new journey—pursuing my baking business full time.

Three years ago, my NC-certified bakery began with a simple gift: my grandmother’s pound cake pans. What started as a way to honor her memory has grown into something I never imagined. Every cake, cookie, and dessert I create carries a piece of her legacy and a whole lot of love.

Teaching has taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of building meaningful connections—lessons I will carry with me into this next adventure. While I will miss my VCE family, I am excited to see where this path leads and to continue sharing sweet treats with all of you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, ordered from me, and believed in this dream. Here’s to new beginnings, big dreams, and honoring the legacy that started it all.
