This one is especially special to me. Baking is so much more than a business—it is something I learned to love from my mom. She was the foundation of my love for baking, and since losing her, moments like this remind me that the things she poured into me continue to live on. I know she would be so proud. 🤍
And above all, I am forever thankful to God for giving me this talent and allowing me to use something I love to bring joy to others.

A Time to Pause 🤍

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share that Fancy & Frosted Cakery will be closed through August 17 as our family grieves the loss of my beautiful mother, who transitioned on Saturday, August 1.

If you've ever read the story behind Fancy & Frosted, then you know this business exists because of her. She wasn't just the woman who taught me how to bake—she gave me the confidence to believe I could build something special. Every cake I create carries a piece of what she poured into me.

Many of you knew her as the talented baker behind the famous Ms. Lynda's Caramel Cake. But to me, she was so much more. She was my lifeline, my biggest supporter, my safe place, and my very best friend.

As we take this time to adjust to our new normal, I ask that you please keep our family—and the entire Fancy & Frosted family—in your prayers. Your love, grace, and understanding mean more than words can express.

Thank you for allowing us this time to heal. We look forward to serving you again on August 17.
