Scottish Shortbread at the Sierra Vista Food Co-op!

As promised, here's a fresh batch of shortbread for the weekend! 😊

The start of September has me excited, and I'm thinking some seasonal shortbread is in order. Keep your eyes open for some Pumpkin Spice Shortbread in the near future! Maybe some cocoa or peanut butter shortbread as well... 😉

Jumbo Cocoa Butterscotch Cookies at the Sierra Vista Food Co-op today! 🍫

These guys are BIG! I had trouble squeezing them into the bags! Definitely a cookie you can split up to enjoy with a friend. 😊 The dough features a little espresso powder to enhance the cocoa flavor, and is chock full of butterscotch chips! It was a struggle to avoid taking a bite when I was packaging these up...

Anyways, head on down to the co-op for a weekend treat! ✨

I had planned on making some new cookies last week but... well, my week got pretty scrambled around! I'm back at it, and found out some folks were hankering for more shortbread in my absence. And so I figured I'd satisfy that craving this weekend! 😊

For as beloved and classic as chocolate chip cookies are, I don't make them too often! Had the itch to do so this week, and the smell in my kitchen was so nostalgic. These guys are definitely begging to be enjoyed with a cold glass of milk! 🥛✨
