Cookie Raffle! Get a cookie, be entered for a dozen of your choice!
Local Twin Cities cookie lovers! You know the strain and grief our communities are currently experiencing during unprecedented ICE operations in MN. Many of our immigrant neighbors are suffering and living in fear, and the helpers are being stretched thin. Organizations and ministries that serve immigrants and other vulnerable people need our help more than ever! I thought of this cookie raffle idea as a way to raise some funds. To participate:
1. Make a new donation in ANY amount to an organization or aid fund that is serving community members impacted by Operation Metro Surge. I'll link a couple orgs I support in my in the comments but I encourage you to choose anything doing good work!
2. Message me by 2/10 to let me know you have participated (honor system is in effect!) and you get a heart cookie! Let me know what you want written on your conversation heart cookie. It could be something inspirational, a word of protest, or a message for your sweetheart 🙂 No profanity though, please! Completed cookie can be picked up on 2/12-2/13 at a location in the Roseville/Shoreview area.
3. You will also be entered into a raffle for a dozen cookies in the theme of your choice. I will contact the winner on 2/10 to discuss fulfillment of the prize.
Note: This is not a business promotion. I am registered as an MN Cottage Food Producer, but am not currently taking orders. This is only for the purpose of fundraising and community participation.
