Yup you read that right….. we’re taking a break! Again….. πŸ˜…

I’ve been thinking about this for weeks and ultimately decided for my family taking a break from baking is the best thing I can do. We prayed so hard for our baby boy & I hate feeling like I’m missing precious time with him because I’m working. I do know how incredibly blessed I am to not have to work because my husband works so hard to support us which is why I want to take advantage of that while I can!!! My baby needs me the most he’ll ever need me right now and if I have the ability to be with him making memories I want to do that.

I have tons of dreams and ideas for Baked by Brush so don’t worry we’re not going anywhere, we’re just taking a break. I don’t know how long the break will be and we do already have some pop ups planned so we will still see ya this year for some cake!

But what does this mean for people already booked?

My break will not affect people that have already gotten a response from me/an invoice from me! Everyone already booked will remain booked. This really just means I can focus more on the people I’ve already said yes too.

You might’ve noticed my response time has been slower than it’s ever been and that’s another reason I’m taking a break. I’ve always prided myself on communication and honestly I’ve been terrible at it since coming back πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ to ensure people aren’t waiting days or weeks for me to email them back I’m turning off ordering and focusing on what I already have on my plate. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Over the next few days/weeks you might notice the website will be down and ordering will not be open. We will make a statement once everything is up and running again. We do still plan to post a little here and there, as we do have lots of content and still have tons of orders throughout the year!
