we’ve only got one pop-up on the books so far this month, but we’re already busy with orders and some back-of-house organization work as we gear up for fall and winter markets! 💪

maja blanca cream puffs are back today at atulea. in phinney ridge! 🌽

these puffs are filled with a creamy coconut and sweet corn pudding with bits of jackfruit mixed in, and topped with coconut milk curds 🥥 🤤

since we revamped the look of our calamansi cream puffs, we thought it would only be right to reintroduce them to you 💛

our classic choux and craquelin that you all know and love holds a slightly mellower version of our calamansi curd (thanks to the gentle touch of a mascarpone cream) so it isn’t quite as maasim (sour) 🤤

we finish it off with a bit more of that mascarpone and another little blob of the calamansi curd for good measure 🌼

the feedback we got on these back in june confirmed they were still just as masarap (delicious) and memorable, so to the og calamansi cream puffs lovers (you know who you are 😉), don’t worry! they wont let you down 😎

now offering 6” and 9” round calamansi cakes on our website! 🤤

four layers of citrusy goodness in cake form come stacked with calamansi curd and calamansi buttercream 🍰 for a little balance, we added rosewater (just a smidge, promise!) and dried rose petals 🌹

we are so excited to finally add this cake to our year-round cake menu line-up! 🤩 catch this one, and more, available to order online 💪

july was undeniably one of the hardest months of our lives, but even though we were absent from pop-ups and baking, we still felt incredible love and belonging from this community. the outpouring of kind messages, care packages, check-in visits, and donations kept us going 💛

we are easing back in and adjusting to our new normal. we look forward to baking for you all again very soon. more to come 💛

hi friends,

we want to start by thanking you all so much for sending your love and prayers our way. it has meant so much to us over the last few days, and we’ve carried your warmth with us 💛

it is with great sadness we share that neil’s father recently passed away due to complications from a brain aneurysm. to add to the devastation and unimaginable loss, the medical bills and funeral expenses are growing more overwhelming for our family by the day.

a friend helped us put together a gofundme (link in bio) to help cover the financial impacts of this painful loss and ease the burden on our family. if you are able to, we would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to give.
