As we count down the days until we close, this weekend we’re paying homage to our milk bread with our version of ‘Bostock,’ a French pastry that’s almost like the crossover between French toast and an almond croissant. Hi everyone, we have an important but bittersweet announcement to make today. We will be officially closing PPANG at the end of this month.

I know this may come as a surprise, but this has been a decision I’ve been contemplating for some time. Being the primary caretaker to a son with special needs, in addition to owning and operating a small business, is no easy task. I’ve reached a point where I feel I need to take a step back from business to focus on my family first.

When I first started PPANG, all I wanted to do was bring a slice of my childhood to the Capital Region by recreating the baked goods I wasn’t able to find here. And in the three or so years since starting PPANG, I’ve gotten to do exactly that, but also so much more. From the opportunity to share my baked goods with all of you, to being as creative in the kitchen as I wanted, to meeting new people and making new friends.

I’m so grateful to everyone I’ve met through PPANG— whether that’s customers, market vendors, or local businesses. And of course, a special shout-out to for housing us for the past 8 or so months & being a great collaborator!

Our last day at Storied will officially be Sunday, August 4th. We’ll be running specials every weekend until then, bringing back old favorites and introducing a few new things just for fun. That includes two Sunday brunches happening July 21st & 28th! More details to come soon. We would love for anyone who likes to stop by and say hello/goodbye one last time❤️

While we would love the opportunity to meet you all again in the future, this will be goodbye for now.

Hi friends, we’ve been getting some questions about our farmers markets plans this summer so we thought we’d address them here. Unfortunately, we are sad to announce that we will not be doing any outdoor farmers markets this season. This was a tough decision for us to make, as the Schenectady Greenmarket in particular holds a special place in our hearts.❤️

We’ve loved the opportunity to interact with everyone who’s stopped by our stall and be part of the Greenmarket community. But family and scheduling issues have led us to conclude that regular farmers markets are not the right decision for us this year.

However, as always, you can find us Wednesday-Monday at from 8am-3pm. And we still have plenty of exciting plans in store this year, which hopefully include pop-ups at local farmers markets this summer! Plus, don’t forget our April Dessert Night with Storied Coffee, happening tomorrow from 6pm-8:30pm!

Continue to support your local farmers markets! We know we’ll be stopping by the Greenmarket often as customers.😉 If you have any questions about how and where to find us this market season, don’t hesitate to reach out!
