Hi everyone! I’m Anna, the face behind The Rustic Whisk! I’m so excited to finally introduce myself and share a little bit about me and the bakery I’ve been dreaming about for so long!
I’ve loved to bake since I was a little girl, starting at just seven years old with my Easy-Bake Oven. In ninth grade, I had to write a research paper about what I wanted my future career to look like. I wrote about one day opening my own bakery and getting to serve my community. Little did I know that years later, that dream would actually become a reality!
In late fall/winter of 2024, I was offered the opportunity to occupy this space. The people who purchased it knew that I had always wanted to potentially open a bakery someday, and when the opportunity came, I knew I couldn’t turn it down.
I definitely didn’t expect it to happen this soon in my life… especially after seeing just how much work this space needed! From getting the stinky cigarette and b**r smell out of here to completely transforming the space, there has been A LOT of hard work, time, and love poured into making this dream come to life.
With lots of hard work and the help and support of my family, we are now just weeks away from opening our doors!🤎
