I know, I know … I don’t use AI often, hardly ever actually (evils of AI are real), but I did kind of love these. I h have a ton of new followers (thank you SO much), so I thought I’d send a hello and this, which is pretty spot on. I grew up in the Sarver area, and after moving around a bit, made my way back home. I’m a closeted Yinzer, I love Pittsburgh. It took me moving away to appreciate her. I’m German/Polish and Scotch Irish … food has always been celebratory, the fixer of bad days and broken hearts. My husband will tell you it’s my love language… it’s how I care for people. Food holds memories. I was in the mental health field for 20 years, why I left is a story for another time. I am so happy to be part of celebrations and love and happy things, because in mental health, especially with kids, I’ve seen some terribly sad things. It’s nice to be a part of good things, and everything I make is always made with love and good intentions. My husband is a transplant, and if you’re local, you may know him as the school sports photographer. We have an amazing 14.5 year old boy who is my personal miracle. He plays sled hockey and is so fun to hang out with. You’ll see us at local events and in some restaurants. Come say hi!
