There is something really special about watching first graders walk into our bakery for the first time. We were so excited to host the Reibli first graders again this year, and it never gets old. The wide eyes when the oven door opens, the questions about how the dough gets so smooth, the little hands waving when they recognize a flavor they have tried before. It is honestly one of our favorite parts of being part of this community.

We always wonder what their favorite part of the tour ends up being. The cookies? The big mixer? The fact that the whole bakery smells like sugar from the moment they walk in? Probably all three. Thank you to the teachers, parents, and volunteers who made this possible, and thank you to the Reibli first graders for being such wonderful guests!

We have a counter full of cookies ready for pickup until 4pm today, and we are open Saturday from 10am to 2pm as well. Local delivery and shipping require advance notice so please get those orders in ASAP. Father's Day is this Sunday, don't be the kid who shows up empty handed!

We love what Sonoma Family Meal does for our community. They are a local nonprofit that provides nourishing meals to neighbors facing food insecurity, illness, or hardship right here in Sonoma County, and the work they do is quietly powerful and makes a tangible difference in the lives of families across our area.

We were so glad we could do our part by teaching a cookie class in support of their mission. Being a small business in this town means showing up for the people who live here, and getting to use what we do to help support an organization like this one was a real privilege. Thank you to the Sonoma Family Meal team for all the good you put into our community.

Looking for our cookies this weekend? Our home base is right here at 430 Larkfield Center in Santa Rosa where you can find our full counter of fresh cookies, gift tins, and place custom orders for any occasion.

You can also find our cookies all over Sonoma County. We are at Oliver's Market, 6th Street Playhouse during intermission, and Korbel Winery where you can grab both our cookies and our dog treats. Airport Cinema serves our Chocolate Cherry Bomb cookies at the bar, which is honestly one of our favorite pairings. Warm Puppy Cafe at the Charles Schulz Ice Arena carries our brownies and concession chocolate chip cookies. LBC has our grab and go bags. Fishetarian Fish Market carries our hand-cut fish cookies, which we make with the same care as everything else. And our cookie bags are at Shelton's Natural Market in Healdsburg.

"We couldn't have gotten her anything better." That is what Luanne said when her surprise cookie tin arrived from her dear friends Cathy and Steve all the way from Santa Rosa to Las Vegas. It is one of our favorite things in the world, knowing that our cookies travel across the country carrying someone's love along with them. We ship nationally and bake every order fresh to order so wherever your people are, we can get cookies to them.

Pro tip for the home bakers out there! If you want a perfectly textured cookie every time, transfer your cookies to a wire rack after about 2 minutes on the baking sheet. Leaving them on a hot pan continues to cook them from the bottom, which is how a soft, perfectly baked cookie ends up overbaked and dry. The wire rack stops the cooking process and lets air circulate so the texture stays exactly where you want it.

Or, if you want to do what we do in the bakery, just slip the parchment paper right off the pan onto the counter. We like to live a little dangerous. :)

Our cookies are part of the live auction for Food For Thought's Our Long Table gala - one of Sonoma County's most cherished fundraising events. Food For Thought provides healthy groceries, nutrition services, and prepared meals to thousands of our neighbors living with serious medical conditions right here in Sonoma County.
