What a joy it was to make these Sister Act the musical cookies for my very dear friend and the cast who open their month long show tonight! The cast has a tradition on opening night to give each other little gifts as a nod to all the hard work they have done together. Lynnea asked me to make these as her cast gift. What an awesome idea! All of the cookies have edible glitter on them to make them shimmer! I hear the costumes are VERY sparkly! I hand painted the stained glass cookies to look like cathedral windows, and hand painted the metallic silver and gold on the disco balls. A little extra special for this cast.
