Me: "I've got a paying customer order for macarons!"
My kitchen: ABSOLUTELY NOT. ❌

Three separate batches...
✔️ Measured by the gram
✔️ Aged egg whites
✔️ Folded just right
✔️ Prayed to the macaron gods

Result? Cracked tops, no feet, lopsided little divas. 😭

Then I randomly decide to make a batch "just because"... and suddenly they're out here looking like they trained in a Parisian bakery. 🇫🇷✨

Apparently macarons can smell pressure and choose chaos every single time. 😂

But alas I'll still keep trying cuz I'm special 🙄

Last weekend, Mia celebrated a beautiful milestone in Springfield as she received her **First Holy Communion**, and this weekend it's time to gather with family and continue the celebration! 🤍

For this special occasion, I had the honor of creating a soft and elegant dessert collection featuring a **pink and ivory buttercream cake** adorned with a delicate cross and buttery yellow florals, perfectly paired with **matching cake pops** dressed in blush pink, crisp white, and shimmering pearl sprinkles.

Some celebrations deserve a tropical twist! 🌺 This sweet order featured a coordinating smash cake and cupcakes dressed in soft beachy shades of blush pink, sunshine yellow, creamy white, and the prettiest ocean blue buttercream swirls.

The cupcakes are topped with elegant buttercream edges, and Mom is adding the adorable little cocktail umbrellas before the party because... well... they refused to cooperate with the cupcake containers! 😂🏖️ Sometimes the finishing touch is best saved for the grand entrance.

From iconic band logos and electric guitars to "Let's Rock" and classic hand signs, every cookie was decorated to capture a love of music and the excitement of what's ahead. Black, white, and purple came together for a bold set that's as cool as the graduate it's celebrating.

This weekend I had the honor of baking and decorating an assortment of cupcakes to celebrate a Highland High School graduate... the daughter of one of my lifelong friends.

It's hard to believe this sweet girl is graduating. It feels like just yesterday we were wandering the mall together while she rode along as a tiny baby, and now she's stepping into her next adventure. Where did the years go? ❤️

To help celebrate, we put together a delicious assortment featuring:

🎸🤘 You can't always get what you want... unless what you want is 120 Rolling Stones-themed sugar cookies! 🤘🎸

This order had me rocking out in the kitchen while baking and decorating 10 dozen custom sugar cookies for a recital concession stand! Featuring iconic Rolling Stones-inspired designs like the famous tongue logo, smiley faces, rock hand signs, and "Let's Rock" cookies, these sweet treats were ready to steal the show.

Most will be sold as individual cookies, but also put together some fun boxed sets so customers could grab a variety of designs all in one package. Because sometimes it's hard to choose just one favorite! 🎶🍪

I love creating cookies that help bring a theme to life and add a little extra fun to special events. Wishing all the performers an amazing recital and hoping everyone enjoys a sweet taste of rock 'n' roll!
