Let’s talk ✨Creative Freedom✨ when it comes to custom sets...

If you’ve read the not-so-fine print on my website, you know I maintain SOME level of creative freedom for all of my sets. Honestly, one of the biggest reasons for this is because I refuse to copy someone else’s work EXACTLY as it was done. Decorating cookies is an art-you pay for that artistry-and so I think maintaining space to put your own creative spin on things, is important. And while there is NOTHING wrong with having a specific vision in mind-as the “professional,” I can sometimes curate a set even more cohesive than the inspiration you gave…or I might have cutter ideas you didn’t know existed…or thoughts on details or designs…the list goes on.

I have been VERY fortunate in my customer base when it comes to creative freedom, but when someone trusts me enough to send me a, “Here are our colors…I trust you with the rest” it is truly so special. Every set I’ve done has been designed with YOU and YOUR specific requests in mind. I remember every set I’ve done and I remember WHO that set was done for-and that’s because I am intentional with every single one. Almost always, sketching designs is the longest part of the process for me. So, THANK YOU to those of you who trust me enough to take your theme, vision, inspiration…and create something uniquely special for your occasion! I have the most fun doing it. 🤍
