One thing that we love doing in July is participating as a family in the Oakland County Fair in Davisburg, Michigan.
Our children have entered numerous categories and have been getting lots of ribbons. These include lambs, chickens, turkeys, and even woodworking, to name a few.
The fair runs through Sunday, July 16, and is fun for people of all ages. Check it out: https://www.oakfair.org

National Donut Day is on the first Friday of June of each year, succeeding the doughnut event created by The Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honor those of their members who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. 🇺🇸

Summer is just around the corner, and our young chickens are getting excited! They're already starting to explore their surroundings and scratch up tasty bugs and treats. 🐓☀️
As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, we look forward to watching them grow and thrive. And when the time comes, we'll be moving them to the Rochester Cider Mill where visitors will get a chance to meet these feathered cuties. Who else is excited for summer and all the fun it brings? 🌞🙋♀️🙋♂️

The Barkham Craft Cider Makers have been busy this week. 🍑 Rochester Cider Mill is now offering Peach Cider - Peaches mixed in with our Apples offer a sweet, smooth, and peachy drink. 🍏
🍎 We also have our Traditional Apple Cider - A blend of late harvest apples, well-balanced and perfect for drinking cold.
First come, first serve, no holds. Our cider freezes well - just take a little out before putting it in the freezer - available in quarts, half gallons, and one gallon jugs.

Do you have the lists to get alerted when special ciders are available? I neeeeed the pear cider!
I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping someone may be able to help. My son Ryan has autism and is nonverbal. He is dependent on caregivers or myself getting him into the community. Today a caregiver took him to the Rochester Cider Mill and when they returned, Ryan's wallet was gone. I went back there and checked around and asked the workers, and nobody had seen his wallet. I also stopped by the Rochester police station and they said nobody turned it in. Though there is money in his wallet, that is the least of my concerns. His I.D., medical information and other pertinent information to protect him is in the wallet. If anyone out there saw it or knows where iy might be, please let me know ASAP. Thank you.
