Happy Rainy Wednesday 🌧️

Fresh banana bread in the stand this morning!

All cookies are still good! - marked down to $1 a package, would like to get rid of them rather than toss away 💛

I’ve had two inquiries this week for cookies for graduation celebrations ~ I love to bake the classic cookie recipes and they are $10 - $12 a dozen.

If you are looking for incredibly decorated sugar cookies, The Cookie Cutter is wonderful, and local!

And while I do not do sourdough at this time, Meemaw’s Farmstand does!

After a couple very full days of baking, my thoughts have turned to the gardens!

My plan is to share some of my favorite recipes with veggies grown in our own backyards 🤩

🥔🥒🥕🌽🍅🥬🫜🧅🫑🍓

Today I threw together a BIG bowl of my favorite snack, Cowboy Caviar!

1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/2 cup Sugar
1 lime (juiced)
1/4 cup White Wine Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
2 Roma Tomatoes, seeded & diced
1/2 cup Red Onion
1/2 cup of diced Pepper (I use whatever type I have)
1 jalapeño, diced
1/2 cup of fresh cilantro (can leave this out too!)
Sometimes we add fresh or frozen Avocado 🥑

Toss it all in a big bowl, mix it up & chill!
So good with tortilla chips or even on grilled chicken!

Happy Saturday morning!

Our Rising Sun event last night was awesome, so many amazing people! We had sold out, very quickly, in December and I over-baked for this event SO extra bagels, jalapeño & cheese breads, cookies, & cinnamon rolls are all in the stand this morning 💙
