Beautiful Cleveland Grad cake out the door today! 🩵

I’d say not too bad for being dizzy and still off balance! I had major anxiety thinking I might have to cancel another cake order but I’m so glad I was able to push through with help from the Hubby 🥺🫶🏼 I can’t wait to be fully back to doing what I love!!

Hi friends!! I just wanted to let you all know that I will slowly start taking custom orders again next week to get back in the groove of it, but I’m still listening to my body and I’m not 100% ready to reopen the porch bakery just yet. I still have a lot of appointments coming up to figure out what’s causing the dizziness so right now it’s just a waiting game and I’m taking it one day at a time!! 😅

But starting Monday I will start taking a limited amount of custom orders so make sure to get those in sooner than later 🩷

Thank you all so much for being so patient with me while I figure all this out! It truly means a lot!! I have started physical therapy and will be getting in soon with the ENT to help relief what’s causing the dizziness!! I can’t wait to be back in the kitchen soon baking all the sourdough goods for you!! 😍

What are some items you all would love to see at The Porch Bakery when we open back up!? It gives me something to look forward to when creating future menus 😅

Good morning everyone! I wanted to give you all a little update. I’ve been battling a severe case of vertigo for the past week and was hospitalized twice. I will be starting some physical therapy to hopefully get some relief and get back to normal! The porch bakery will be closed this coming Saturday as well as custom orders! 🩷

Thank you all so much for the love and support! Please continue to keep me in your prayers for healing. This has been extremely challenging and something I hope to never experience again 🙏🏼

Hi everyone! I wanted to let you all know we will unfortunately not be opening the porch bakery this weekend! I ended up in the ER last night after my daughter’s graduation and sadly won’t be well enough to pull it off!!

As we head into the busy summer season, I wanted to give a quick update regarding weekly custom orders 🩷

For the summer months, custom orders will move to a limited weekly menu instead of a full open menu. This will help me better balance weekly baking, porch bakery weekends, and family time while continuing to provide the quality and care that goes into every order 🫶🏼

Starting next week I’ll post available menu items to order from. Once order capacity is filled, I may not be able to accommodate additional requests for that week.
