Three years ago today I made my very first homemade pie. It's funny how fast time goes sometimes. At the time I couldn't even put together a pie crust without staying on the phone with my grandma for hours and having her guide me step by step. Now I make pies as one of the best sellers of our very own business. I couldn't be more proud of how far both my husband and I have came in this amount of time. I also want to extend a thank you to every one of you who has supported us this far whether that be by stopping by the stand and grabbing something we've baked, sending kind words of encouragement, or pre-ordering for the holidays. Very soon things will be back in full swing and pies will hit the stand along with lots of other goodies to look forward to! We can't Wait to see what the future holds and what amazing things we will bring you in the future!

Our roses finally bloomed today and the garden is coming along! Still lots we are so excited to harvest and share with you all! This morning we got the privilege to pick our spinach and red baby romaine lettuce! It's going to make a perfect salad! Come snag a bag while it lasts!

Also just a reminder we have garlic scapes available! Not familiar with garlic scapes? Well let's change that! A garlic scape is the curly, bright-green flower stalk that emerges from the tops of hardneck garlic plants in the Spring. They are usually trimmed off You encourage the plan to focus its growth more on the bulb of garlic that is forming underground. But they aren't wasteful! Scapes are edible and offer a mild, sweeter taste than traditional raw cloves. They can be used to make pesto, eaten grilled/roasted, enhance stir fry or sautés, pickled, and minced to make compound butters. Using the scapes gives a gardener the ability to make the most out of their garlic plant harvests with 2 options! 🤗

Good Afternoon! We hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday! Mother Nature isn't quite sure how she wants to act today but that hasn't slowed us down from baking! Good chilly morning everyone! ☕ We got the opportunity to spend a little time outside this week and enjoy some of the little things like this adorable and helpful little honeybee on our wild honeysuckle and some of our irises blooming💜 It's amazing what beauty the world has to offer if you take the time to slow down and look around!
