‼️Welcome Back Bake Sale‼️

Hey everyone! After taking some time away from baking for surgery and recovery, I’m so excited to finally be getting back into the kitchen.
To celebrate being able to do what I love again, I will be hosting a pre-order sale and this one is extra special to me.
I recently spent about a month at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and have been there multiple times a week, every week for the last 3 months. I had the chance to meet not only some of the most amazing families, but also some of the most amazing nurses and doctors while I was there and I appreciate them more than I can even put into words. While I can’t say thank you enough to everyone for the amazing hospital experience, I wanted to use my baking as a way to give back!
50% of all the proceeds from my welcome back bake sale and many going forward will be donated to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, to help support the amazing care they provide to their patients and their families.

Baking has always been such a huge part of my life and after everything this past year has brought, it feels great to be able to finally give back to those who help so many others!

I am super excited to be back to baking soon! In the meantime, I will be baking for fun trying new recipes for this summer!

I am wanting to do more bake stand days, but want to offer some new baked goods! Some of the new items I am thinking of adding to the bake stand each week are filled donuts, cinnamon rolls, loaded muffins, cookies, pre-made cookie mixes, cake slices, and bagels.

What is something that you want to see this summer along with any flavors you want to try? My favorite answers will get to try their suggestions for free!! 🩷

Part 8 of Baby Baker Days!

I actually did these Dia De Los Mu***os cookies my sophomore year of high school for a Spanish project! And yes…I did get an A😂 woo hoo!🥳
I loved doing these cookies because of how much detail there was and I was able to just be fully creative and do whatever I wanted. I started with the purple cookies first, as you can clearly tell because they are pretty plain Jane, but once I was comfortable I moved onto the orange and rhen green! Personally, I am obsessed with the green cookies, but which one is your favorite?

Part 7 of Baby Baker Days!

I have done a lot of sheet cakes since this cake in 2018 and yet, this is probably still my top 1! I remember how excited I was that I got the font to look just like the Harry Potter font!
I used to prop my iPad up on full glass cups and have the image I wanted to copy up and the cake in front of my and I would spend hours going back and forth trying to make everything look perfect. This is one of those cakes, where I definitely spent quite a bit of time just staring at nothing but my iPad and the cake😂

Part 6 of Baby Baker Days!

Still to this day, this is one of my favorite cakes! This was the first time I had ever added royal icing flowers to a cake before and I was absolutely obsessed with how it turned out!
I will say that I vividly remember there was the most annoying element about this cake though. Any guesses? It was the sprinkles! IT IS ALWAYS THE SPRINKLES!😂 I remember working so hard not to get the gold sprinkles onto the side of the cake and only have them in the center of the flowers and covering the broader at the bottom of the cake. There may or may not have been a few hours of time spent with a tooth pick, picking out stray sprinkles on the side of the cake!😂
I made this cake in 2017, nine years ago, which is absolutely crazy!
