September & October are officially FULLY BOOKED for custom orders! ☀️💛

Even with the stand temporarily closed, you guys have continued to keep me so incredibly busy. You can still find fresh baked goods weekly at Sip Coffee Bar and keep an eye on my page for any limited extras I’m able to squeeze in along the way!

This season has brought a lot of unexpected changes! But through all of it, you guys have continued to show up, place orders and remind me just how lucky I am to have the customers and community that I do and I couldnt be more thankful!

I’ll keep you all posted as we get more information about a new home for the stand. Until then, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for continuing to support Sunshine’s. I truly couldn’t do this without all of you 🫶

One thing you'll notice about my business...Every photo you see from Sunshine's is the real thing!
I'm a FIRM BELIEVER that when you're selling a product, your photos should show the actual product your customer is going to receive. That's how you build trust. That's how you create consistency. And that's how you let your work speak for itself.
So while AI generated images can be fun, they're not the right fit for my bakery. Every cookie, scone, brownie and cake you see has been baked by me, styled by me, photographed by me, and edited by me (usually in Canva!)

Does it take a longer? Absolutely.

But I'd rather spend a few extra minutes creating photos that honestly represent my products than post something that isn't real.
So when you order from Sunshine's, what you see is what you get! No mock-ups. No AI generated desserts. Just real baked goods, real photos and a whole lot of heart behind every single one 💛

Well... this definitely isn't my usual Saturday morning "what's in the stand" post. Instead, it's a little life update.
And plot twist... 🌱🥖☀️
Apparently running a tiny garden stand is a little more complicated than "grow vegetables, bake bread, make people happy." 😅

The last few weeks have brought some unexpected curveballs, a lot of behind-the-scenes figuring things out and a few changes I never expected to be sharing. But I wanted to what's going on and where Sunshine's goes from here. The good news? Sunshine's isn't going anywhere 💛
🥖 I'm still baking. 🎂 Custom orders are still open. 💻 I'm working on updating thr website to make ordering even easier. 🌿 And the garden stand is just taking a "see you later" while we work toward something more permanent.
If you've reached out with kind words, encouragement, or support lately... thank you! Truly. You've reminded me that this little business is about so much more than cake and cookies.
So grab your coffee, hit play and I'll fill you in on everything. And who knows... maybe this plot twist is just setting up an even better next chapter ☀️💛

☀️ Hi Sunshines!
This isn't a post I ever want to make, but I have an important update to share with you all.

Due to changes in our landlord's homeowner insurance, we've had to close our self-serve stand at its current location. While this means there won't be weekend stand sales for the time being, Sunshine's isn't going anywhere! I'm still baking, still accepting custom orders, and you can still find a selection of Sunshine's baked goods at Sip Coffee Bar 💛

Three years ago, Sunshine's was one of the first little self-serve stands of its kind in our area. Since then, it's been incredible to watch this little community grow. I've met amazing customers, connected with other stand owners and built friendships with people who share the same heart for supporting local and creating something special and that has truly been one of the greatest gifts of this journey 💞
This change wasn't anyone's fault. Just one of those unexpected bumps that sometimes happen with running a small business. And while it's definitely not the news I was hoping to share, I'm choosing to see this as an opportunity to grow in a new direction.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting this dream over the last three years! Whether you've stopped by the stand on a weekend, shared a post or simply cheered me on, you've helped our little dream become what it is today. You all mean more to me than you'll ever know!

This isn't goodbye to the garden stand...it's just "see you later" ☀️

Sunshine's is still baking and I can't wait to share what's next. My hope is that one day I'll be able to welcome you all back to a new stand location and once again be part of your weekend tradition 🫶 In the mean time get your sweet treat fix by visiting Sip or reaching out for a custom order!
