Heads up for the week though — my little ones are under the weather so we're taking this week off. No preorders, no Fields drop and the Bread Shed will be quiet until next weekend. Mama mode is fully activated. 😄

The Apple Cinnamon Sourdough is out there right now and it is exactly what a crisp October Saturday calls for. Sweet, warm and made with sourdough — this one is only around for the month so don't let October slip by without trying it.

Regular Sourdough and Sourdough Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Scones are out there too. Plenty to go around this afternoon — come grab something good before the weekend gets away from you. 😊

There is something really freeing about remembering that the strength I need was never supposed to come from me.

Not just in the hard seasons but in the good ones too. In the everyday ordinary ones where nothing dramatic is happening and life is just full and moving and beautiful. In all of it, His strength is the constant.

I love that about Him. He is just as present on a regular Tuesday as He is in a crisis. Just as near on a beautiful fall morning watching the fields get harvested as He is in the middle of the hardest night. His strength isn't reserved for emergencies — it's woven into every single moment for the people who belong to Him.
That feels like safety to me. Real, deep, nothing-can-shake-it safety. Not because life is always easy or predictable but because the One holding it all together never changes. The seasons change, the circumstances change, the feelings change — and He stays.

I don't have to be strong enough. I just have to stay close to the One who is. And honestly? That is such a relief. 🕊️

The Bread Shed opens tonight at 6:30pm and I have been looking forward to this all week. 🌾

I looked up from my desk yesterday and the fields next to our house are being harvested — big tractors moving through the rows, my kids pressed against the window watching. There's something really grounding about that. The season doing exactly what it was made to do, right outside my window, while I'm in here doing what I love.

October in Raymond is something else.
