Wednesday is doing its thing again — here's what you need to know before tonight. 😊

Field's Grocery in West Mansfield is getting a fresh drop tonight after 6pm (weather dependent) — Regular Sourdough Bread and Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies on the shelf while they last.

And preorders close TONIGHT at 8pm. If you've been eyeing the Mini Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes for Father's Day, now's the time!

Even my sourdough starter can't keep up with this Ohio weather. 😅

Storms one day, chilly the next, heating back up today — and my starter has been just as unpredictable. Warmer days speed everything up, cooler days slow it way down, and trying to keep a steady rhythm this week has been a little comical.

Anyone else feel like this weather has thrown everything off lately? 😄

Something really special happened at the Raymond Baseball and Softball Association Hog Roast on Saturday.

Getting to meet new faces and see familiar ones all in the same place — some who had already been ordering bread and stopping by the Bread Shed, showing up to say hi like old friends. I didn't expect that and it completely made my day. 🤍

That's what this is all about. Not just the baking, but getting to be part of this community in more ways than one.

And speaking of this week — just added something fun to the preorder menu for Father's Day. Mini Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie Cakes with frosting and sprinkles. Little, celebratory, and perfect for the dad who deserves something homemade. Preorders open now through Wednesday 6/17 at 8pm. 😊

The Bread Shed opens at 6pm tonight and there are THREE reasons to make the trip out this weekend. 🌾

There's a phrase that gets said a lot in our house.

God provides.

We say it when things work out in ways we didn't plan. We say it when something falls apart and something better shows up in its place. We say it when the timing doesn't make sense but it all comes together anyway. It's become less of a statement and more of a reminder — a way of reorienting ourselves back to the truth when life feels uncertain.

And the more I pay attention, the more I see it everywhere.
Not always in the big dramatic moments. Usually in the quiet ones. The right person showing up at the right time. A need being met before you even thought to ask. A door closing that you're grateful later you didn't walk through.

There are moments when I genuinely cannot see how He is going to come through. The path forward looks unclear and I can't find my way to the other side of it in my own mind. But He always finds a way. And when I look back at the hardest seasons — the ones where I couldn't see it at all — His provision is written all over them. I just couldn't see it yet.

God doesn't just provide for the big things. He provides for all of it — the ordinary Tuesday afternoons and the hard weeks and the seasons where you're not sure what comes next.

He provides. He always has. He always will. 🕊️
