Starting Friday, June 5th, Bakes Two to Tango will officially be a vendor at the Sturgis Gathering Market!

We're excited to finally have a consistent location where our Sturgis customers can find us each week. Stop by to say hello, grab some treats, and support local businesses!

We'll also have Tulip Tea Co. with us, so be sure to grab some awesome loose leaf tea while you're there!

We can't wait to see everyone at the market!

You may notice a few changes to our Google profile. Since we no longer have a physical storefront, our address has been removed from Google.

I’ve also updated our hours to 10 AM–11 PM daily, as these are the hours customers can contact us to place and schedule orders.

Important Update Please Read 💜

Effective immediately, Bakes Two to Tango is no longer affiliated with Vendor Emporium & Curiosities. I am grateful for the time I spent there and for everything it did to help grow my business into what it is today. I met so many amazing people through that space and I’ll always appreciate the support I received there.

With that being said, I no longer have a location available for customer pickups right now. For the time being, all orders will be delivery only while I work on finding a reliable space where I can consistently host pickups and workshops again. My website has already been updated to reflect delivery-only ordering.

I know this is not ideal and honestly this change happened really fast, so I’m doing my best to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone. To help with that, I’m removing delivery fees in Rapid City and lowering them for surrounding areas. Delivery costs will automatically calculate through the website when ordering.

If you or someone you know has leads on a small space, storefront, coffee shop, event space, or anywhere that may be open to hosting pickups, pop-ups, or classes, please reach out to me directly. I’m also actively searching for a commercial space to rent so I can continue growing Bakes Two to Tango the way I’ve always envisioned.

At this time I’m also putting a temporary pause on cake decorating workshops until I can secure a space to host them again. If you currently have free class tickets, PLEASE hang onto them!! I fully plan on bringing workshops back as soon as possible. Teaching classes has honestly become one of my favorite parts of this business and I’m not ready to give that up.

Everyone with standing pickup orders will be contacted by the end of the day Saturday so we can arrange delivery or another pickup option that works.

I’m really sorry for the inconvenience this causes. This business means everything to me and I’m trying very hard to navigate all of this while still continuing to bake, create, and show up for all of you the best I can. The support, orders, shares, kind messages, and encouragement truly mean more than I can put into words right now.

Just head to the website, add your cake or treats to your cart, and you’ll be able to see your total after-tax cost right there. If it fits your budget, you can place your order directly through the website without needing to contact me first.

A lot of people feel nervous reaching out because they assume custom cakes are out of their budget, but I am a completely judgment-free baker. I’m always happy to give quotes, discuss options, and help find something that works for your budget and your event!

I had such a wonderful time sharing the story of how I started my business. Not many people get to hear about the early days, the challenges, and the hard work it really took to get me where I am today. And yes, I really did cry after dropping off my first cake.
