This one feels a little different.

We wanted to celebrate Dolly the best way we know how — with a little sweetness, a little Southern comfort, a whole lot of pink…and most importantly, a little kindness.

But my favorite part has nothing to do with food.

Three years ago today. ❤️

I look at this picture now and realize just how much I was still in shock. I was going through the motions, trying to figure out how you keep living a life that suddenly looks nothing like the one you had planned.

But this was one thing I knew I could do.

September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month, and just a few months after losing John, I put on my shirt, stocked our Live Like John bracelets, and tried to turn a little piece of the worst thing that had ever happened to us into something that might help someone else.

And honestly, I know he would have been honored.

John never needed attention or recognition. He just helped people. He showed up. He loved big. And he really did live by No Bad Days.

Three years later, September will always hit a little differently.

So here's to my Angel Husband, to spreading awareness, and to continuing to say his name and tell his story.

Last week was BUSY in the very best way.
Custom order are one of our favorite parts of what we do!

From baby giraffes and under-the-sea cuties to back-to-school treats, “hatching soon” babies, A Lego Cake and everything in between… we got to be a tiny little part of SO many celebrations last week. 🥹

Thank you for trusting us with your birthdays, babies, and special moments. We may be covered in powdered sugar, icing and questionable amounts of caffeine by the end of the week…but we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Okay, yesterday’s 80’s Throwback Cookie Workshop was an absolute blast!

First of all… these ladies came in claiming they were “not cookie decorators.” LIES. ALL LIES. 😂

Because apparently you just hand someone a piping bag, throw on some 80’s vibes, and suddenly we’ve got professional decorators sitting at the table.

We had roller skates, mixtapes, Rubik’s cubes, rainbows, Pac-Man…and enough neon icing to make 1987 itself proud.

There was laughing. There was concentrating. There may have been some questioning of life choices while holding a piping bag.

And THAT is why I love these workshops.

You don't have to be crafty. You don't have to know what you're doing. You just come, sit around our table, laugh a lot, make some cookies, and leave with a box you’re ridiculously proud of.

10/10. Would totally rewind and do it again. 📼
