What an absolute pleasure it was to bake for our dear friend’s baby shower last weekend 💙 The “locally grown” theme had so many beautiful touches, including fresh veggies 🥬🫜 in the center pieces and clay pot painting 🪴. For sweet treats, we had chocolate and vanilla cupcakes 🧁 decorated to look like succulents 🌵 and each table had two mason jars full of mini chocolate chip cookies 🍪 for the guests to munch on. And of course the parents-to-he’s sweet pup 🦮 had to make an appearance on the mason jar labels! Delicious all around! We can’t wait for the little one to join the fun next month! 🥰🐣

Our very own papa bear’s birthday 🎉 was the perfect time to make our first ice cream cake! It started with a classic Baked by Sugar Bear vanilla funfetti cake and then has layers of vanilla bean and cookie dough ice cream. And of course we had to include classic crumbs between each layer and around the outside. The topping is a whipped cream frosting which paired perfectly with the ice cream and tasted delicious covered in Oreo crumbs!
