SAVE BONES AND VEGGIE SCRAPS!

Those $5 rotisserie chickens make the most deliciously rich chicken stock, and if you're in the habit of saving the outer layers of onions, the tops of peppers, celery cuts, carrot tops.. add all of that to your pot with those rotisserie chicken carcasses and simmer on low-low for 8 hours. Strain and store the stock for rice, pasta, mashed potatoes , soup, or sipping! I promise you you'll never buy the stuff in the paper carton again. Such a simple way to cut down on waste, and utilize every dollar of your grocery budget.

Hello Neighbors ❤️

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to report I was contacted yesterday by the licensing division of the department of health. Apparently one of our not so neighborly neighbors has made it their personal business to report me and my meals. Imagine being so petty, and so unhappy in your own life that you literally take food out of the mouths of your neighbors to further your own agenda. Sad.

As such I have been told I may no longer sell hot or cold foods that would require a food license. I will instead switch gears to foods that are covered under cottage law.

I cannot tell you how devastating this is as I've really enjoyed sharing my love of cooking and my heart and home with each of you every weekend. This was not just a side job for me, this really was something that brought me joy and fed my neighbors.

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope you'll find delicious offerings to make up for my Sunday meals.

As of today I will no longer be serving my Sunday meals. I cannot thank you enough for your continued business, and your trust in me. I'll see you around the neighborhood ❤️ - Babcock Bakes.
